Debbie Katz was born in Argentina to a Hungarian father and Argentine mother. She was raised in Germany, with a Jewish background and as multifaceted as her history. Leaving behind her career as a translator (fluent in six languages), and jewelry designer, Katz moved to Miami where she founded an international production company. Daughter Cheyenne was born in 1998 and soon the challenge presented itself to find dresses that were beautiful and comfortable to wear in the hot humid weather. Katz and her mother, an extraordinary seamstress from Italy, started to design dresses that combined old world flair with new world comfort. Not only Cheyenne adored her mother’s creations, but soon the demand that started with just friends coming to her home to buy unique pieces, had grown beyond her expectations.
